Yea definitely went a little manic on Friday and said let’s release a song. 😂 Idk what that feeling was about, but I ran out the house with just an hour of sunlight left & took some iconic pics with a self-timer. I can do literally do hennything I put my mind to, so if you know me I will throw a whole project together in a few days all by myself 😂. I don’t have the budget and I can’t wait on people when the feeling is saying NOW. Sometimes music is spontaneous and it’s not realistic artistically to plan out a release every 4 fucking weeks just to get noticed for playlisting purposes. It’s very robotic and elitist to churn out projects like that. I make a lot of slutty ass songs but they are all done with thoughtfulness and intention. I remember hearing Erykah Badu say that she doesn’t record unless she has something to say, and I feel that way with releasing music a lot. I hate throwing things out just to feed the algorithm. I prefer to release full albums, but here we go! I’m trying to play the game. Stream it hard as it becomes available and get ready for more.
